“We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of November, and as always, it was an amazing trip to OCT. Going during the pandemic, we knew things might not be up to what we have grown to expect and although the first week was a little disappointing with the food, by the second week, things were back to what they always are…. Delicious! What makes this resort our favorite is the people. It was nice to see our old friends again and nice to meet new ones. They all made our stay comfortable and memorable. Here are some of the best people in the business: Ricardo at the Adult pool. Hardest worker we’ve ever seen. And so nice. We swear he’s got to put in 100k steps a day! Diego at the privilege bar - every morning when he saw us walk in, he poured our favorite drinks - so attentive! Edgar privilege breakfast - was so pleasant and knew exactly what we wanted. Ebasio (can’t remember his name probably because had a few drinks in us by the time he was on shift lol) in the privilege bar at night - he was great! Luis - privilege, always making sure everything is perfect! A big smile every morning and we swear he is everywhere. Jose Luis - at the privilege beach area was so amazing and took care of us every day. He truly made us feel special. Alfredo - hooked us up with some massages and an amazing spa day. Great guy! Susanna - have to mention Susanna in the morning privilege. She was quiet but always made sure we had our toast. Yesenia - was so friendly, informative and always greeted us with a big smile we could see through her mask Our hearts were full seeing all these great people healthy and back to work.As mentioned above, the food got better the longer we were there. The property is starting to show it’s age, but the cleaning crew keeps it looking good. We also appreciated that there were protocols in place (masks indoors, pool seats apart…) that kept us feeling safe.All in all, another great vacation. We are looking forward to the next one again soon!”

“This place is a joke. 2021 and the level of service is somewhere in the middle of last century. Don't believe there are any managers working here at all. There are basic stuff that no one even tried to fix it during our stay (Christmas and New Year Week). Starting from the beach - one row of umbrellas with total capacity of roughly 100 people. In order to be on the beach, need to leave some belongings on the the chairs no later than 7am. Need a beach towel - get on the line and be patient for them to bring some clean towels, out of them all day/every day. Need to eat on New Year's eve dinner? Good luck! Come out even the buffet needs a reservation (50% of the visitors had no idea). Instead of enjoying your night you are fighting for a chance to eat...(no matter that the buffet was occupied 30%, check the picture) Not fun at all, especially with hungry wife and kids around. The "manager" was so kind to deal with - threatening of calling security, asking my wife to sit down, because she is too tall... :) For last 10 years I haven't been in situations like that, we are going to different places 2-3 times per year. Hope they realized that without proper management every business is going down. We were a group of almost 100 people - be sure that non of us or any of our friends are coming back. There are many other things that can be mentioned, but don't feel like they deserve more of my time. Huge disappointment!”

Si buscas PLAYA, NO VENGAS:1- Un hotel de 5 estrellas, con playa privada llena de sargazo y algas que impiden el baño a cualquiera. No solo la imagen es desagradable, sino el horrible olor a animal muerto que invade todo el hotel, incluso las habitaciones.2- Estuvimos en dos habitaciones ya que de una nos tuvimos que cambiar por la cantidad de mosquitos que había. En las dos olía a humedad durante todo el día, haciendo la estancia desagradable. El suelo siempre estaba sucio y solo te hacen la cama. La reposición de toallas y geles es mejorable.3- La limpieza en el hotel es deficiente. Todo, incluso cubertería y platos, toallas y servilletas, están siempre sucias o con manchas de no haberlas limpiado bien.4- La calidad del alcohol es pésima, ni que decir tiene la de la cerveza. Es mejor beberse el agua de la piscina. El servicio de animación también es muy mejorable, actuaban como sin ganas.5- Tienen como cinco restaurantes aparte del buffet donde te ofrecen comida de diferentes países bajo reserva a través de la web. La comida en dichos sitios es prácticamente insípida, por ejemplo el sushi está más bueno si lo compras en un supermercado.6- Hay iguanas, gatos y mapaches sueltos. Es lo único que merece una estrella de más.

The staff here are all amazing and friendly. Alejandro from entertainment was always smiling and welcoming towards us. He made us look forward to watching him dance, and crazy game. We’ll miss seeing him around the resort! Eduardo at the pool bar was also really attentive to us, making our drinks the way we wanted. Absolutely enjoyed the resort, however the staff made it even better!

Personalmente la experiencia es muy buena, desde la llegada y la atención que me brindaron. Los que viajan a algún sitio de vacaciones tienen que informarse bien antes de viajar para tener en cuenta que es lo que incluye el paquete que eligieron. De esta manera no tendrán malos entendidos ni inconformidad sobre lo que te pueden brindar. Lugar muy limpio y agradable. Restaurantes diversos de acuerdo a los gustos. Albercas muy cuidadas y amabilidad de los empleados. Muy recomendable desde mi experiencia.

My family and I took our annual family vacation and stayed at OCT and it was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. My family and I purchased the privilege package where we had amazing staff book redecorations, taxis, securing lounge chairs by the pool, and whatever else we may have needed. Jose Luis Center was our beach concierge for the week and he was amazing!!! He secured the best chairs for us and always made sure we had fresh towels. If you are someone who looks forward to the beach, this is not the resort for you. Due to unforeseen climate change there is a THICK barrier of seaweed that has washed onto shore and the entirety of the water is brown. Although that was unfortunate we still had an amazing stay.

Muy bonito hotel y excelente servicio por parte del personal. Me gustó que todos los restaurantes quedan bastante cerca y que las cenas son en los restaurantes de especialidades. Los alimentos son buenos sin llegar a ser excelentes, las bebidas si dejan bastante que desear. En términos generales es una muy buena opción para ir a un todo incluido con toda la familia.

El hotel ofrecía todos los servicios que se anunciaban. El trato fue maravilloso. La limpieza de las habitaciones muy buena, la comida de los distintos restaurantes muy variada y muy rica, no había mucho tiempo de espera y los/as camareros/as muy atentas. La única "pega" es el cuidado de la piscina que tiene barra,demasiada gente muy borracha que ensuciaba e incluso vomitaba dentro. La hospitalidad inigualable.

Iniciemos con el registro, el sistema que utilizan se mí hizo de mal gusto, lento y deficiente. El alcohol que sirven es de muy baja calidad, el buffet no tiene variedad del almuerzo y desayuno no tiene variedad, la playa no se puede disfrutar debido al sargazo, la. El pequeño snacks en el zona de niños a las 4 deja de dar servicio.Lo único que rescataría sería las cenas , por el buen sabor y la rapidez en atención. En lo personal no regresaría a esa hotel.

We love it here!! This was our 3rd time staying! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! The food is always yummy and there’s so many varieties with the buffet and restaurants! The drinks have been great and very strong! Our room has been cold and clean every time we leave! We are never disappointed and we will be back!

Had a great 2 weeks in this hotel. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. We loved the entertainment team with Alejandro and Andy! They do a great job. Got to mention Edwardo too who is a fabulous waiter around the pool. The food in the buffet restaurant was the best. We were disappointed with the Italian and Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately we had the terrible seaweed issues on the beach but couldn't fault the team of workers who battled to try to clear it up every day. Not quite 5* but if you can get a good deal it's definitely worth visiting. Don't be tempted with the expensive Privilege option. The party pool with bar is the best place to sit and relax to Alejandro's playlist. Sad tone home.

We booked an all inclusive adults only stay... it wasn't. They have several buildings and 2 of them are adults only. Coincidentally, all common areas and restaurants are family friendly except for ONE pool that has no bar pool and whose adjacent bar closes at 5pm 🙄. Then only SOME liquor brands and beer are included. High end requires an upgrade. Inclusive of Mexican beers

Hotel com múltiplos restaurantes, os temáticos são bons e têm em atenção intolerâncias ou alergias alimentares... nos restaurantes com conceito buffet nem tanto. Conseguimos marcar sempre os jantares sem dificuldade no site, comemos bem e não tivemos filas! Instalações razoáveis. Pormenores mais negativos: a praia com bastante sargaço, incluindo com mai cheiro no dia em que chegamos. Utilizam apenas um trator durante o dia para limpar a praia, que é insuficiente para a sua extensão. Vimos que outros hotéis têm redes no mar que limitam a chegada de sargaço, não sei se seria uma solução; Nos dias em que tomamos banho de manhã cedo a água do chuveiro apresentava cheiro desagradável; O hotel não ter um balneário que permita tomar banho, após a utilização da piscina no dia do check out. No nosso caso implicou fazer o check out às 12h e ficar sentado no lobby do hotel até às 18h sem usufruir da piscina por este motivo.

El personal de restaurantes, bares, servicio a cuartos muy amables y de buen servicio.El hotel en sus instalaciones deja mucho que desea, descuidado, mal servicio de limpieza a cuartos,no hay apoyo por parte del hotel si alguien se accidenta en sus instalaciones. En los pasillos encontramos desechos de animales y el olor se mete a las habitaciones.Mala experiencia, para no regresar nunca a ese lugar.

The rooms aren't the best and as others have said, outdated and smell of mildew but they are spacious,the balconies are cool, and the drinks and entertainment are top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the variety of food options. Each pool on the property offers different amenities and plenty of space for everyone.The hammocks on the beach are a wonderful addition as well. Also, the bartenders like Alejandro were soo awesome! Great price for a great all inclusive resort. Gustavo at the pool bar is very attentive and learns your drink menu fast. The food is just okay. The hype crew was fun to get people excited for a foam party in the pool. The restaurants fill up fast. Make reservations early if you don't want to eat buffet every night. The beds are comfy and the ac works great.

I am relaxed and had a ton of fun. The staff, most especially Ricardo P at the El Beso pool, made sure I had everything I needed before I even knew I needed it. This man is truly a gift! It’s obvious he enjoys what he does and enjoys the people he serves. In addition, the activity staff was excellent and great at gently urging us to participate. Especially Andy on the Blue team! Such a nice guy and really good at his job! Thanks for a great trip!

Principalmente por causa do serviço . Funcionários inexperientes , nada prestáveis e pouco simpáticos . Não limpam os quartos como deve ser, e quando o fazem é pela metade . Houve dias que limparam só a metade do quarto: hora não faziam todas as camas, hora não limpavam as sanitas , toalhas nos quartos nunca repostas , era preciso sempre ir a recepção pedir , pois não atendiam o telefone . Duche fraco , e muitas vezes nem água quente saía. A comida é bem variada, e saborosa , mas os empregados de mesa , muito morosos , e nada prestáveis . Cadeiras na praia ou piscina , se não acordas a meio da noite , ficas sem no dia a seguir . Simplesmente uma experiência terrível , tanto que não temos qualquer desejo de retornar ao México .

Colaboradores não estão treinados/formados para 5 estrelas.Restaurantes temáticos de baixa qualidade, restaurante genérico de baixa qualidade/sabor/diversidade. A gestão recebestes mais presente no terreno para perceber estas falhas graves/básicas. Vão perder progressivamente clientes.

We are visiting the Ocean Coral & Turquesa for two weeks, so far we have a brilliant time. The food and beverage staff are brilliant and nothing but attentive. The highlight of our trip so far have been the events the Entertainment team put on everyday and leave us laughing or with a smile on our face. We last visited four years ago and remembered the daytime entertainment being one of the best parts of our trip. I can say that the same has been true on our second visit, Alejandro and the team are amazing at creating a great atmosphere and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. It’s nice to see so many people enjoying themselves after what has been two very long years of Covid preventing people from doing so. Keep the good work up!

They do an amazing job at making the guests feel welcome and included! I only knew them a week but i will definitely miss them! I would absolutely come back here! Desde mi experiencia: de entrada nos dieron una habitación menor a la que pedimos, hasta el día siguiente nos cambiaron, y no tuvieron la intención de enmendar el problema, solo disculpas, se tuvo que dormir en el sofá cama. Tuve que llamar más de 4 veces para solicitar una cuna que ya estaba solicitada desde la cotización. Hay falta de personal ya que tuvimos que esperar 2 de los 4 días más de 1 hora para que nos llegaran bebidas en las piscinas. Hay una clara diferencia en la atención al extranjero que al turismo local. En el buffet si no solicitaba servicio a mesa no nos ofrecían ni agua, pero al extranjero si le daban atento servicio. En el restaurante de cortes la misma situación. El lugar es muy agradable, las piscinas limpias, la comida muy buena.

Me pareció un excelente hotel ya que desde que llegamos el personal nos recibieron nos brindaron la me atención. Un excelente servicio y tiene una buena ubicación, al igual tienenun buen servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones y en las áreas. Me encanto la vista que tienen las habitaciones . Le doy gracias al personal de Ocen Coral y Turquesa por el servicio que nos brindaron y sin duda volvería a regresar y sobre todo lo recomiendo mucho❤

Un excelente lugar con varias opciones para pasar un muy buen rato, amplias instalaciones, recorrido con un conjunto de reservas muy encantador, además de que tiene un área de gatos dónde puedes pasar horas admirando como se divierten los amigos felinos. La vegetación, los jardines y las decoraciones son encantadoras, ideal para hacerte un cliente frecuente 🤗. Por último resaltar la atención y cuidado que ponen a los detalles 😊.

Excelente todo. La comida riquisima y mucha variedad. Para los restaurantes recomieno hacer reserva a la mañana porque luego quedan sin lugar. Los animadores Alejandro,Estrella y Fernando unos genios! Las piletas son grandes y limpias. Muchos juegos en familia divertidos que te hacen pasar un buen rato.

It was a great stay all around. The beds are comfortable, the staff are friendly. We did the snorkelling excursion and it was fun. The food is great most of the time. The buffet is reliably good. The restaurants have great atmospheres, and the portions are small so you can try multiple things. Only order multiple portions once you have tasted and know you like that particular dish. They have daily activities by the pool, and they had lovely shows at night. So be sure to check it out!

Local bastante agradável, categoria cinco estrelas, diversos restaurantes, shows noturnos, ALL inclusive. Tivemos dificuldade para conseguir sentar nas cadeiras à beira da piscina, sempre tudo marcado, desde às 6h da manhã. Também tivemos dificuldade em escolher um restaurante específico, sempre lotado, desde as 8:15 da manhã, e, a reserva começa às 8h. O prédio não conta com elevador e tem 4 andares e os próprios hóspedes levam dias malas até o quarto. Nosso quatro tinha cheiro de mofo, que permaneceu todos os dias, não melhorou após nossa ocupação.. Funcionários atenciosos e prestativos, serviam bebidas o dia inteiro. Comemos todos os dias no restaurante que não dependia de reservas, onde era servido o café da manhã.

My stay was great only thanks to the entertainment guys! They keep everyone smiling and happy, involved in activities. Fernando is the best night show host that makes even a boring show fun. Alejandro is always smiling and stopping for a small talk that will brighten your day. Andy does morning stretches that will get you energy for the rest of the day. Ivan is the best water aerobics instructor and dancer, will keep you smiling throughout the whole workout and make you feel like you’re in a paradise, if not him no one would want to join the activity! These guys made me smile every day even when it rained and got little cold they still made the day fun and memorable! I would go back to the resort just because they work there! Oh and of course the DJ was playing great music.

Enjoyed our vacation. Beautiful weather, good food, nice people. Jose Luis , Ricardo, at adult pool excellent service. Ron the MC for the noon activities at the pool (tequila tasting etc.). Great job! Only thing is we'd like to be able to pick certain areas when booking. They don't answer specific questions in emails before your stay. We made certain requests when booking which were ignored. But all in all we'd probably return.

Quiero resaltar el trato excelente del personal de animacion , los chicos del chill out-bar en concreto Gustavo, ya sabia que servirnos y eso que nos juntamos un grupo de 7 . El servicio del buffet era variado y en la noche podias reservar en los distintos restaurantes a la carta . La habitacion siempre nos la tenian impecable . Por poner una pega , a las 8 de la mañana ya estaban todas las tumbonas ocupadas . Si duda volveria a repetir el mismo hotel mil veces .

What a wonderful and fun resort! We traveled with a group of students and had so much fun with the activities team working at the hotel. Every single day there were fun games like beach volleyball or dancing competitions by the pool that we loved to participate in. We played beach volleyball every day. Ivan was so funny, high energy, and charismatic we felt very comfortable to enjoy participating in all the activities the hotel had to offer. For example the pool game competitions where Ivan was a great MC that made us all want to cheer as loud as we could! It felt like the whole resort was at a party! Thank you to Alejandro, Andy and Ivan for playing games, teaching us some Spanish, and showing us all of the exciting things the hotel puts on during the day, you can tell how hard they are working to make the environment of the hotel as fun and inviting as possible. The resort has stretching classes and pool aerobics in the morning/mid day that are run by the team, these were a perfect balance for all of the eating and drinking we did during our vacation and also are not too long so you don't have to worry about taking too much time from suntanning. As students, it is very important for us to feel safe and like we can enjoy our vacation without stress, we all agree that the activities team genuine personalities and high energy are some of our best memories of the trip, and allowed us to have the most fun we could. It was sad to say goodby but we will defiantly be back for another game to win beach volleyball and dance at night by the pool bar (which had excellent music for dancing). Thank you again to the activities team, the perfect group for having fun!

We had so much fun at Ocean Coral. All the staff were amazing and so very accommodating. Roberto at the buffet always went above and beyond for us, spoke excellent English, and always made us feel special. We also had great experiences at both the Sensai and Mexican restaurants with managers Romero and Erika. We truly had a blast at this resort and enjoyed every second of our vacation. Thank you so much for creating an amazing environment for our family to experience many new and lasting memories. We can’t wait to visit again!

Overall, this resort is fantastic. The service level from all employees was excellent. The food is mostly quite good with Blue Moon being our favourite restaurant. You can have your pick of pool to hang out at (adult, family, party) or enjoy the beach (minimal seaweed but cloudy water). The only downside is there are not enough sun chairs for everyone and people put a towels on the chairs to reserve them for the whole day, even if they are not using them much. If you want a sun chair for the day, you need to get up at 6am and go put your towels on them. I tried the first morning at 8am and every chair was already taken at the pools and on the beach!

No volvería a este lugar. Muchas cosas no me gustaron, tuvimos mal servicio de parte de meseras, tuvimos problemas con toallas, problemas con bloqueo de habitaciones, lentisimo el servicio de check in hasta 8 pm, para CASARTE menos, ni se les ocurra escoger este hotel. Las bebidas malísimas todas, son de las que seguro te duele la cabeza horrible, la comida en su mayoría muy mala, le dieron una tarjeta con cuarto ocupado a un familiar, a otro ni le tocaron y entraron como dueños de su casa, no cuidan los estándares de seguridad Covid y la gerente general Evelyn pésimo trato!! LUGAR AL QUE NUNCA VUELVES!

Our vacation was great.It’s a beautiful resort right next to the beach, I loved that you can see the beach from almost anywhere.Dinner options were very good.Not as many great breakfast or lunch options.The waitress at the pool bar was HUSTLING every day.She impressed me with how hard she worked.My biggest complaint is the spa.During our couples massage, the masseuse kept inappropriately touching my husband, turning a relaxing experience into an awkward and uncomfortable one.

RUDE STAFF.Daniel at the front desk was very rude.Mostly all the staff were either rude.or walked past you as if they didn't see you... ive been to Mexico maybe 4 times since the pandemic and this by far was the worse. We requested from the front desk a bell hop for the morning of departure and Daniel basically dismissed the fact that he never came..he even asked me what didn't I remind him? Rooms are very smelly from the bathroom..remotes doesn't work & the ELEVATOR wasn't working No staff offers to help when you as the guest are literally lost trying to find restaurants. Make reservations etc... Pool snack bar was NEVER OPENED MOST restaurants not open daily & your basically left to figure that out all on your own.. Rooom service never worked via the app..& when you call downstairs they don't answer... Our housekeeper..Jesus in the shuttle area & all of our buffet servers were AMAZING.COFFEE shop workers seemed irritated but not rude..... The entertainment crew was AMAZING the entire time.All of the restaurants had very good food..but what's good food with bad customer service.I will NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. The RESORT OVERALL IS beautiful but needs new staff..We

I would rate this place a 5 but I was deceived by the airport shuttle service. It turns out this resort DOES NOT offer airport shuttle service and I had to spend an additional $100 USD. However, I will rate this place a 4 for the simple fact they were able to accommodate a last minute reservation. The food, entertainment, and ambiance have been great so far. And may I also add that this place is extremely family friendly, the kids even get a chance to dance at night 🙌🏽🥳.And lastly, yes the rooms do smell like mold but it seems like this area is very humid so I’m sure it cannot be prevented.

People that are leaving 5-star reviews to this hotel - are you joking? This hotel does not worth even a cent. Our family vacation was ruined by its service:The tennis court is available until 11 pm. You want to play - pay $20 per hour for the lights. Great! The rooms are old, with licking showers and creaking beds far from the quin size. You want to go to the restaurants with your friends - please purchase a bottle of alcohol. You do not want to make a purchase- please enjoy the buffet. We spent over $500 on the alcohol. Great! Beach, Pool, Beach. You can not get a beach chair unless you wake up at 6 am or go to bed at 2 am. The picture of the resort with two lines of umbrellas is a big lie. There is only one row of chairs, and it is not enough to accommodate the hotel's guests. There is a constant shortage of towels too. The biggest disappointment is New Year Eve. I hope the entire buffet staff will be fired (that is what I wished them before I left). Over 40 people begged to get in and feed their children by the entrance. As we found out, the buffet that night was by reservations only. I asked a few times that day if any reservations were necessary, and the host assured us that we could just come in. We all had to fight with managers and break in to get the table. And of course, for us to enjoy some performance we had to purchase three bottles of prosecco to reserve a better view. I do not need any hotel management apologies. People read my review before you book your trip (especially with going with a big company). You go down the shoreline and find much better beaches and resorts there.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of November, and as always, it was an amazing trip to OCT. Going during the pandemic, we knew things might not be up to what we have grown to expect and although the first week was a little disappointing with the food, by the second week, things were back to what they always are…. Delicious! What makes this resort our favorite is the people. It was nice to see our old friends again and nice to meet new ones. They all made our stay comfortable and memorable. Here are some of the best people in the business: Ricardo at the Adult pool. Hardest worker we’ve ever seen. And so nice. We swear he’s got to put in 100k steps a day! Diego at the privilege bar - every morning when he saw us walk in, he poured our favorite drinks - so attentive! Edgar privilege breakfast - was so pleasant and knew exactly what we wanted. Ebasio (can’t remember his name probably because had a few drinks in us by the time he was on shift lol) in the privilege bar at night - he was great! Luis - privilege, always making sure everything is perfect! A big smile every morning and we swear he is everywhere. Jose Luis - at the privilege beach area was so amazing and took care of us every day. He truly made us feel special. Alfredo - hooked us up with some massages and an amazing spa day. Great guy! Susanna - have to mention Susanna in the morning privilege. She was quiet but always made sure we had our toast. Yesenia - was so friendly, informative and always greeted us with a big smile we could see through her mask Our hearts were full seeing all these great people healthy and back to work.As mentioned above, the food got better the longer we were there. The property is starting to show it’s age, but the cleaning crew keeps it looking good. We also appreciated that there were protocols in place (masks indoors, pool seats apart…) that kept us feeling safe.All in all, another great vacation. We are looking forward to the next one again soon!

This place is a joke. 2021 and the level of service is somewhere in the middle of last century. Don't believe there are any managers working here at all. There are basic stuff that no one even tried to fix it during our stay (Christmas and New Year Week). Starting from the beach - one row of umbrellas with total capacity of roughly 100 people. In order to be on the beach, need to leave some belongings on the the chairs no later than 7am. Need a beach towel - get on the line and be patient for them to bring some clean towels, out of them all day/every day. Need to eat on New Year's eve dinner? Good luck! Come out even the buffet needs a reservation (50% of the visitors had no idea). Instead of enjoying your night you are fighting for a chance to eat...(no matter that the buffet was occupied 30%, check the picture) Not fun at all, especially with hungry wife and kids around. The "manager" was so kind to deal with - threatening of calling security, asking my wife to sit down, because she is too tall... :) For last 10 years I haven't been in situations like that, we are going to different places 2-3 times per year. Hope they realized that without proper management every business is going down. We were a group of almost 100 people - be sure that non of us or any of our friends are coming back. There are many other things that can be mentioned, but don't feel like they deserve more of my time. Huge disappointment!

Stayed for 8 days and it was a beautiful hotel. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from. Sunsets and moon rising. Rooms: great size beds. Leave AC on due to the humidity. Fridge gets full everyday so if you go explore take waters and drinks with you. Beach and pool: 3 different pools to lounge in and beach is clean with white sand.

Originally, since we booked a standard room we were placed in building 4. Immediately after walking into the room I could smell mold. I am VERY allergic to mold and started to have a reaction right away. We went back to the reception desk and upgraded to a privilege room (double the price), which we were told was not moldy. After speaking to other staff throughout our stay, we discovered that it was common knowledge that building 4 is moldy because during COVID they closed some of the buildings. I don’t understand why the hotel would place visitors in a mold filled room-it is dangerous and scary. Despite that, we had an okay-time. Food was hit or miss. The privilege area and lounge was nice. The beach was disappointing. Drinks were okay. We were disappointed in the wine-so we bought upgraded bottles. We had some really good service here and there. So after a couple days, we inquired at the privilege reception about staying another night or two because we had the time. This was a terrible experience. We probably spent 2-3 hours on our precious vacation and talked to 7 hotel staff about how to make this possible. Essentially, they determined to get the same rate-we had to book online. However, in order to book online you needed a 3 night minimum. We figured there should be some way to get around this with reception, especially because we were in one of the best rooms in the hotel and privilege status. We were like “Here’s our money, please figure out how to make this work”. They couldn’t do it. It was clear there was going to be quite a struggle to figure this out and we weren’t interested in pushing for the extra days anymore and we gave up. Overall, service definitely needs to be improved.

We stayed for a 4 night get away.We will not be going back ever.We have been to many resorts and cruise a ton so we are totally fine with the all inclusive piece.Rooms: The rooms are a great size, bathrooms are large and clean.Bonus was the fan in the room which was perfect to keep air moving at night.The bed was hard as a rock.We did not sleep for 4 nights.Property: The pools are really nice and relaxing.We sat at the in pool bar most of the time and it as great.The beach is so so.There is a lot of seaweed but they do clean it up every morning.The resort for the most part was clean and well maintained.Food: The restaurants were pretty good for all inclusive.We really loved the hibachi, make your reservation early! The steak house was pretty good, the steak had zero color but tasted fine.Italian was our second favorite, the bread is delicious.The buffet for breakfast was great.The omelet station was by far the best.The lunch was terrible.We had a hard time finding things to eat at lunch every day. Most evenings had only 2 restaurants open.Even on the weekend that was packed, only 3 dinner option were available.People:The staff was really great.All were very attentive and would bring us drinks before we were completely out.We really loved ANGEL and DIEGO at the pool bar.COVID Test: the covid test was quick and easy.You are assigned an appointment within 24 hours of check in that follows your home country's guidelines.It is $35 USD per test and they take cash or credit.I am not sure if its a COVID era thing but the resort had a ton of weekend check ins from the local area. I do not think the resort is prepared to be at 100% capacity with the current staffing. The resort itself became dirty, the bathrooms out of the basics, cigarette butts were all over the public areas of the resort and restaurants full all the time. Unfortunately, the new arrivals really ruined the rest of our trip.We had 2 people sit down on our pool chairs ON TOP OF all of our stuff (towels, phones, books, backpack) and then when asked to move acted like they had no idea the chair was taken. They had kids running around all over the pool bar area, splashing and jumping into the pool right by the bar.I am all about families having a good time but be respectful of others around you.

I booked this hotel for the bar in the pool, and it did not dissapoint. Mi amigo Diego was an excellent bartender, I did not go thirsty 😁. At the end of our visit, we had 30 min to spare and Gustavo was an excellent bartender until the end... The variety of the food was great!

1st time at this resort, ocean view room a must!! Not too big of a resort, beautiful & clean, directly on the beach. Plenty of restaurant choices, but our favorite was the buffet, the selection was great every night - especially mexican night! But the best part were the servers - Roberto, Edna, Rosaura and Evelyn, so attentive and make you feel like family. If you ever visit ask for to sit in one of their sections😁

The staff at the resort are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and taken care of daily. No complaints whatsoever. I read some negative posts about cats on the property, I'm not a fan of cats at all however the cats are taken care of and seem to keep to themselves. I witnessed more iguanas among the guests than cats.

Stayed 2 weeks. I already put my first week review in. Here's my second. Gotta give props to my Butler Enrique. He helped us with reservations and obtaining items that were not available on site. I want sure that I would like this resort because I usually stay at an adult only one. I enjoyed it. They do have an adults only pool. See Jose Luis for anything you need, chairs, towels etc. Can't wait to return!

Si van a ir les recomiendo carguen con ustedes en todo momento las pertenencias de valor que tengan, yo fui a nadar a la alberca del hotel y cuando regrese ya me hacían falta $600 pesos de mi cartera, la cuál estaba a dentro de la maleta cerrada, tengan cuidado!! Revisan tus pertenencias y te roban. Cuando fui a solicitar ayuda, solo me dijeron que se haría una investigación y al final no hicieron nada.

Hotel encontra-se degradado, o que é uma pena, pois com algum cuidado poderia ser muito bom. Reservamos 1 semana de 27--11 a 24-12 Foi-nos atribuído o quarto 17205. O quarto tem a cortina corta luz mal pendurada pelo que não fecha ao centro. O chuveiro tem a mangueira rota pelo que sai mais água pela mangueira do que pelo chuveiro. Não nos deixaram toalhas de rosto. Na primeira noite partiram-nos o carregador ao arrastar a cama. A hora das refeições é um pesadelo. No Restaurante buffet Casa del Mar ao jantar, com imensas mesas vazias formam-se filas no exterior a aguardar que os conduzam a uma mesa onde poderiam já estar sentados. A comida que termina não é reposta pelo que sao mais os acompanhamentos do que a proteína principal, o que torna difícil fazer uma refeição correcta. A resposta do responsável é que têm falta de funcionários, e ofereceu-nos para nos trazer uma bebida, inacreditavel... Nos restaurantes temáticos e referido que não é necessário marcação... Também o site não funciona... Mas após esperarmos 1/2 hora na fila no exterior às 20h e só após um dos hóspedes ter entrado para reclamar, nos foi dito que o restaurante estava todo reservado. In terrogamo-nos como era possível pelo que contactámos o Guest Service, ao fim de algum tempo de diálogo foi-nos dito que quando os restaurantes abrem às 18h.devemos marcar o mesmo... Completamente de loucos, com estas atitudes estragam-nos as férias e pela primeira vez numa vida de viagens por todo o mundo desejei que me devolvessem o dinheiro e sair imediatamente do hotel!!!! Pagámos estadia num hotel de 5 estrelas mas nem 1 estrelas apresenta. Espero que tomem medidas concretas e aguardo uma resposta correcta com soluções.

I’ve been to many all-inclusive resorts outside of the US and I felt a lot of mixed emotions with this resort. We stayed 4 nights and I had to rent a car to escape the resort. Entertainment was very subpar. I paid $500 pesos for 6kg of cat food and donated it to the resort because I could tell they don’t feed their property cats when they lied and told me they feed them 3x a day. The entire resort smells like a toilet due to extremely poor water quality conditions. The walls were so thin I could hear every word my neighbors spoke and it was uncomfortable.For what they charge for guests they could invest in reverse osmosis water. They charge an environmental fee and don’t even recycle. Nobody is raking the seaweed out of the ocean it was so dirty we had to drive 2 hours to Tulum. Also the check in/out lines are ASTRONOMICAL. you will wait a MINIMUM of 30 minutes to an hour just to check in or out or get a request.The pros of this resort?-AC works greats -private balconies -food is yummy -pools are nice -room service is niceUnless management reaches out to my personally I will not come again.

Personal encantador y muy servicial; los espectáculos fantásticos y la comida deliciosa aunque muy enfocada al público norteamericano. Como único punto negativo, la gente de USA alojada que cree que todo es suyo, sin educación ni respeto hacia el personal y resto de huéspedes. Bajan a las 6:30 de la mañana para ocupar las tumbonas y se marchan hasta las 10/11 para disfrutar del sol..."a la sombra". Lo ocupan todo y no dejan a nadie para cuidarlo, se intentan colar en los restaurantes y arman jaleo por las noches... Pero vuelvo a repetir que personal de staff y servicios del 10

We stayed here with 18 other people this past week and loved every minute! The staff at the resort are amazing. They are always making sure you have a great time and asking if you need anything. We ate at the buffet, Italian, Steakhouse, Mexican and the hibachi grill and all were really good. I have read where people say the food isn’t great but even though things are prepared differently you can always find food to eat and it was all good. It was a little cooler out and the pools were cold but we still used the pools and got out fair share of beverages. Lol… Gustavo at the swimup bar was the best! He would go out of his way to make sure you were having a great time. The only thing that I would say that could be done is the buffet be open every evening and not just the weekends. It would just give a little more of an option but it was fine. I would definitely go back and anyone who complains about the service at this place must just be really hard to please like the couple who was complaining to a staff member that the weather was bad and blaming it on them🤷‍♂️

La gastronomía deja que desear, el bufet algunos días variado y otros muy poco.. los restaurantes a la carta son solo para clientes privilegie ya q solo ellos pueden reservar y el resto solo puede ir a mendigar una mesa q se desocupe esperando a veces más de una hora. Para mi gusto faltan bares..Diferencian mucho los huéspedes privilegie en todo los aspectos cosa q no es tan alevosa en otros hoteles..(al menos q yo he visitado). Las actividades de entretenimiento son muy escasa,en mi caso me toco varios días con mal tiempo y por momentos no se sabe q hacer en el hotel y sumado a que esta muy alejado de todo, resulta poco entretenido en días q no se puede aprovecharla playa..le doy 3 estrellas de puntuación, por las habitaciones y el edilicio que es vistoso.. la atención del personal en general es muy buena salvo alguna excepción.. la ubicación y la playa no son las mejores bajo ningún punto.. Fui con la expectativa muy alta y no cumplió para nada con dicha, al menos esta fue mi experiencia..

Hay hoteles con mejor precio y mejoresAún estoy hospedado en el hotel y no ha sido una grata experiencia , pienso que no volvería a contratar sus servicios Racistas en atención al turista mexicano , no todos los meseros pero si algunos dejan mucho que desear , te dejan esperando por las bebidas o no te retiran los platos sucios aunque alrededor haya muchos extranjeros que a ellos si les retiran los platos . No funcionan los elevadores y en mi caso tengo bebé y es muy complicado trasladarme . Instalaciones muy antiguas. Agua con olor a sargazo Comida es la misma todos los días y no tiene un sabor exquisito. Deben explotar más el potencial del hotel .

We stayed here for 8 days and had an enjoyable stay right up until our last night. My fiance and myself received little to no sleep due to what we believe to be bed bugs. We both woke up covered in bites and immediately found at least one bug in our bed that we matched with a quick google search. The two women we spoke to at both the general front desk as well as the privilege front desk could not have cared less, offered no sympathy and not even so much as an apology. We simply asked that they supply a bottle of anti itch cream from their gift shop to provide some sense of comfort before our 7 hour flight and they denied that request and told us to fill out a suggestion form. Very disappointing end to what had the potential to be a memorable trip.

Amazing place to go that's why we keep going back ..the staff was great ,always there to help if needed .. room was great with amazing view ..food is as always wonderful . The only issue we had was do to covid some of therestaurants times where different.

We came down for a 4 day visit and it started off a little rough with a medical emergency in our group. Ramon and the 1st responder staff of Ocean Coral and Turquesa, were immediately on the scene and with the help of two guests who happened to be an emergency room doctor and nurse, we made it through what was a terrible situation. Ramon's follow up attention to our grandson and the family was helpful and genuine. Ramon was great! The resort is nice, the beds comfortable. Nice rooms, clean, loved the balcony and the view. Perfect place to enjoy morning coffee. They provided a perfect back drop for our granddaughters destination wedding. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. There seemed to be a little communication problem with housekeeping. Aside from that we had a pleasant stay.

We have been coming here for 7 years now and it is always wonderful, whether we want to adventure or just hang out on the beach. The staff at Ocean Coral & Turquesa are wonderful. Ricardo at the adult pool is always so attentive and friendly (and he lets me practice my Spanish without laughing at me 😆). We mostly spent our time at the Privilege Beach and Ricardo made sure we always has beverages and treated us like friends. He is a truly excellent employee. We always feel very cared for and appreciated as members here. We love the perks that come with the Privilege membership — the exclusive beach, Privilege Lounge, upgraded rooms, and service from the fantastic Ricardo. Honestly this is such a wonderful getaway and we would recommend to anyone!

This was our second year visiting this resort.We really love this resort.It's a nice all inclusive. I believe it's a good bang for your buck.We really prefer the adult only pool. It's quiet and the staff sees to your needs. I have no complaints.

Nice property, due to covid protocols there are long lines at the pool bar and getting a beach lounger by the pool can be a bit difficult. Food and beverage quality was quite good compared to other hotels and even for a day pass we were not limited as to what we could and could not do.

Es una lástima de hotel que según 5 estrellas, el agua de los cuartos apesta a caño, el agua de la regadera cuando te bañas se filtra al excusado y si usas la tina el agua sale del baño. Solo está en servicio un bar y tienes que hacer enormes filas bajo el sol para que te sirvan tu bebida, algunos meseros como la señora que atiende los helados no saben tratar al huésped, Los baños de las piscinas siempre están rebosando de papeles. En los restaurantes no puedes comer a gusto por el calor que hay en el restaurante. Las cervezas del bar es más agua que cerveza. En fin al menos mi familia y yo no regresaremos a ese hotel. Lástima porque era un buen hotel

Precioso hotel todo incluido, ubicado en una zona cerca del puerto de morelos.Comidas, bebidas deliciosas habitaciones comodas y el servicio de sus anfitriones, ni se diga más.Como siempre se recomienda seguir todas la medidas sanitarias de higiene y sana distancia, asi como el uso de cubrebocas en algunas areas.

We had a great time overall. Our best experience was with MANUEL at Villa Marina restaurant. We asked for him to serve us again on the second time we went, since he is extremely polite, profesional, attentive, and made us feel the love. Please ask for him to be your server! They need to hire more people like MANUEL in order to keep happy guests like us coming back… he is definitely one reason why I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Lugar maravilhoso, quartos suite junior são novos e espaçosos, comida variada devido a pandemia nem todos os restaurantes funcionam mas não fez falta , único problema da primavera verão sao as algas na praia não da da pra nadar no mar

Lugar excelente, considerando que a climatização ainda não é perfeita, que a limpeza dos quartos é feita muito tarde e que alguns restaurantes estão fechados. Escolha as habitações do segundo e terceiro andar voltada para a piscina de adultos,assim você evita o forte cheiro de umidade e o barulho da piscina principal.

We upgraded to Privilege. It was nice to eat breakfast in the Privilege Lounge. The room was nice and spacious. The staff was not very friendly or helpful and the food was just okay. Not quite what comes to mind when on a vacation in Mexico. We were unable to get in the ocean because of the amount of seaweed you would have to climb through. The Privilege private beach area was a great spot to sit to be near the ocean and it wasn’t usually crowded. All the pools were over crowded and there was no chance of getting a chair unless you were out at 4am to put a towel down. It wasn’t a horrible stay but I can’t say I’d choose this place again if returning for vacation.
