Convenient location. Overall nice facilities and rooms. However, the shower head seems to leak and it caused the 2 of the 3 bath towels hanging on the rack to be completely soaked. I thought I had maybe just not closed the shower curtain enough, but my husband experienced the same thing when he took a shower. The thing that really grossed us out was the sheet stain that we found on the bedsheets. Not sure if it was just a permanent stain? I don't want to think of the alternative (take a look at the photo and you be the judge). It honestly looked like an old blood stain? We called the front desk person, who immediately apologized and offered to switch us to a different room. When we picked up the new room key, the front desk person also offered free breakfast and apologized again. I appreciated his promptness and service, but finding that stain made this hotel feel "unclean" to me.

Rooms and lobby were very nice and the staff were great. Workout room was very nice and had lots of equipment. Only downside was that it was noisier than I expected and the ceiling was pretty thin. I could hear the person above me and was woken up a few times. They weren’t doing anything abnormal, noise just passed through very easily.

Horrible management. The staff are friendly & nice but the general manager, on the other hand, who would not provide her name (African American lady) I believe was extremely unprofessional / rude / arrogant / disrespectful. Just by her being the face of this company is a disgrace. Just a heads up, may wanna take your business elsewhere.

Disclosure: I’m an Ambassador Marriott Member and travel all over. I’ve stayed at 3 different Marriotts in the greater Hartford area. I would say for the $/night, the Courtyard Marriott Farmington is well below average. The service is inconsistent. I stayed on the 4th floor and a roach was on the bed - I called Marriott International via the Marriott ambassador line - hotel leadership was notified (hotel manager Briakena Talo). The overnight attendant was also notified the following morning and stated he would escalate this finding to the manager. Marriott international stated the manager Briakena Talo was notified and would reach out to me and no one did. I was in a bind during my stay and could not leave the hotel due to work reasons, but I did cancel several weeks of future reservations. I try to stay loyal to Marriott - I’ve stayed at the Marriott downtown, Residence Inn Rocky Hill, Residence Inn Hartford, Residence Inn Manchester, and Courtyard Marriott Farmington in the course of several weeks (travel healthcare provider) but I’ve never been so disappointed. I now stay at the Hilton Homewood Suites In Glastonbury and would recommend anyone looking for an extended stay or a nice stay in the Hartford or greater Hartford to stay there. Save yourself the trouble - stay at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Glastonbury. Marriott has an incredibly poor representation in Hartford. It’s not worth it. Any one who travels a fair bit will tell you that this particular hotel’s leadership is amateur hour.

The gentleman with the shell tops that checked us in was very nice. The rooms are very nice and newly remodeled. The young lady that checked us out was not as friendly as the other employee. Had she smiled and said good morning this would have been a 5.
