“This location is great since it has easy interstate access. The exterior is simply charming. BUT..... The interior needs some attention. The hallways t wreaked of marijuana. Very odd. Therooms are not like other hotels I experienced of this brand. I'm going to be kind and say that it is a place to rest for the night if that is your only criteria.I hate leaving less than 4 stars but in good conscience for other travelers I'm stretching it for the 3. The rooms desperately need updating to match the draw of the exterior decor.

“My wife and I stayed here while heading down to Florida. Our thoughts:The good:breakfast was very good and they had a make your own waffle station, the bathroom was spacious and the shower was very hot and relaxing, the staff were very friendly and parking was plentiful and well lit at night. The bad: The interior style and design (and smell) of the hotel is more akin to grandmas country home then a “country inn”. They definitely need a remodel. The pool and hot tub were out of service. Our bedroom pillows were not full size and were just miniature 2/3 sized. The jetted tub in the room was big enough only for one person. The beds were only moderately comfortable and used a traditional spring mattress. The ugly: these rooms are in a serious need of a remodel ASAP. There were no USB charging ports anywhere in our room and make sure you bring charging blocks if you book a room here. The most modern thing in our room is the big screen TV and even then that is much smaller than most modern hotels. Also the price we paid for one room ($172) is outrageous for what we got. The inspection certificate in the one and only passenger elevator showed expired as of May 2022 (months ago) and the security door catch in the room was severely loose, I had to re-tighten it myself.Bottom line: go somewhere else until this place comes out of the 1990’s.
